2025 PROJECT: The cardiac catheterization lab at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre will be a specialized area where doctors diagnose and treat heart problems, especially heart attacks, using thin, flexible tubes called catheters. These procedures can unblock arteries, restore blood flow, and prevent heart damage – all without open-heart surgery. The earlier a patient receives care in a Cath Lab, the better their chances for recovery. 2025 Red Deer Festival of Trees proceeds will help to make this long awaited dream a reality. With your generous support, the construction of our catheterization lab will be expedited by five years and will result in an estimated 160 lives saved during that period. The lab isn’t just a facility – it’s a lifeline, and for many families in Central Alberta, it means hope arriving not a moment too soon.
